Maroon Porsche 928 in the paint booth at Symphonia Werks

Automotive Paint & Refinishing in Houston

Paint quality is decided before the gun is picked up. Straight panels, clean edges, correct sealing, and disciplined blocking are what make a finish look deep. All of that prep happens in the same building as the booth, so nothing is rushed to meet an outside vendor's schedule.

Questions

Answers before you call

What makes a repaint look right?

Surface preparation. Color and clear only reveal the shape underneath, so blocking out waves, sealing repairs properly, and painting clean jambs and edges determine the result far more than the spraying itself.

Does a color change cost more work than a repaint?

Yes. A color change means jambs, door shuts, under-hood surfaces, and often the interior edges have to be refinished too, which requires deeper disassembly than repainting a car in its original color.

Are matte finishes harder to maintain than gloss?

They require different care. Matte and satin clears cannot be polished to remove scratches the way gloss can, so defects are corrected by refinishing the panel. Washing technique and avoiding abrasive products matter more with matte finishes.

Can you paint only one panel?

Yes. Single-panel work is common, and blending into adjacent panels is typically used so the transition is not visible under direct light.
