Porsche 911 body panel fitment during bodywork

Collision Repair & Auto Body in Houston

Collision work is handled with the same standards as our build work. Damage is assessed on the structure first, panels are repaired or replaced with fitment set before finish, and refinishing happens in our own booth so the repair blends with the rest of the vehicle.

Questions

Answers before you call

How does collision repair differ from restoration bodywork?

Collision repair is targeted: it returns damaged areas to their pre-loss condition while preserving the undamaged structure and finish, and success is measured by how invisibly the repair integrates with the existing vehicle. Restoration bodywork treats the entire shell as the work surface — every panel is stripped, gaps are reset across the car, and the whole exterior is refinished at once.

Is hidden damage common?

Yes. Impact energy travels through the structure, so brackets, rails, mounting points, and suspension components are often affected even when the outer panel looks like the only casualty. A complete assessment happens after disassembly of the damaged area.

Can new paint be matched to the existing finish?

Matching depends on the color, the finish type, and how much the original paint has aged. Blending into adjacent panels is the standard approach for metallics and pearls, since a hard edge between old and new paint is visible in direct light.

Do you take on custom bodywork as well as repair?

Yes. Widebody fitment, fabricated panels, and body modifications are part of the same department, so a repair can be combined with a change to the car's appearance if that is the goal.
